Campbell Cole x Albam. It is a real pleasure to have worked with Albam to create a small capsule collection of four products. We recently popped into the factory to check in on the product being made – see below for a sneak peek of what’s to come.

Inspired by a shared love of great photography, beautifully simple product and effortless functionality, The Strap is a collaboration between Campbell Cole and OPUMO. It's great to see photos of The Strap on Instagram and we plan to add more to this gallery, so please tag @campbell_cole to make sure we don't miss them.

We have been working with Oli on a new style to follow on from O Tote for quite some time and had planned to launch it around about now.  The design work is done, trims are starting to arrive, we're just waiting for the fabric... and this is the exciting part.

A perfect pair, two Key Toggles made for simply hanging out together have us totally hooked this Valentine's Day. Beautifully packaged in a gift box.

2018 was an exciting and busy year for Campbell Cole as the product we had been quietly working on for some time, designed in collaboration with photographer and influencer Oliver Hooson, finally came to fruition. Looking back we had no idea how the launch of O Tote would be received and this was the main reason we decided to work with one local maker to produce small batches.

There's a chill outside and a cosy feeling of comfort in our house. It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas. Admittedly, it takes a while but I love writing our Gift Guide.  A little self-indulgent perhaps (as it's basically an elaborate hint to Father Christmas ;-) but also because it's fun to gather together all the lovely things we've discovered over the year and share them with you. You can shop your favourite Campbell Cole pieces alongside some stunning furniture at the Midcentury Modern Show at Dulwich College in London on Sunday 18 November. We can't wait to be there and hope you'll see us firmly routed to our stand, resisting all the surrounding temptations!

Adam Barclay is a Sheffield based photographer and, alongside his wife Katie, co-founder of In-Grid – a contemporary women’s label celebrating minimalist design and British craftsmanship. We particularly admire the sculptural quality of his studio work so were delighted that Adam suggested taking his camera outside to document a Simple Day at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park...

 

For some time, we've been keen to reduce the amount of leather wasted during production. Untangling the spindly off-cuts onto our studio table it became obvious that it would be somewhat of a design challenge. We started rolling the strips into spiral toggle shapes and noticed that any marks were concealed in the lower layers.  The shape that formed was beautifully sculptural and satisfyingly tactile.

Designjunction is a curated exhibition of cutting-edge design. Set across three exciting new venues on the South Bank, London, expect to discover 200 international brands and boutique shops, hundreds of product launches, outdoor installations, as well as delicious pop-up eateries and bars. 

Photographer Lydia Harper is never happier than when travelling, so it seems fitting that when we asked her to capture a Simple Day in the UK she chose to explore somewhere new.  Lydia drove along the South East coast, stopping off at a few places along the coastline from Birling Gap to Dungeness.

We're looking forward to being at Primary Makers Market on Sat 4 August 10:00 - 17:00, alongside some of the best of Nottingham's independent makers.  Although we're unable to be there on the Sunday, the market will still be in full swing so pop down at some point as there will be lots to discover and delicious food to indulge in.

A project that started after meeting Oli through Instagram, it is so rewarding to see photos of people wearing O Tote on the same platform.  The project seems to have come full circle and it is exciting for us to be able to share some of those images.  We very much intend to add to this gallery as the project continues.

It has been eight years since we'd packed our bags and escaped for seven whole nights away from it all. Villa Scarpariello Relais is about 1.5km east of Amalfi and has 11 apartments that are built into the cliff face overlooking the sea. A historic building in an incredible location, it really does take your breath away.

Since it’s launch in 2013, we’ve had a few emails from people asking if their car key will fit inside. All car keys are different shapes and sizes, but they are usually quite chunky so the straightforward answer is probably not.
