Wish List | Ian and Felicity's Christmas Gift Guide 2017
There's a festive feeling in the air... we love this time of year, every weekend is booked up to spend time with friends and family, and we're absolutely ready to eat, drink and be merry.
Once again, we have pulled together our Christmas Wish List in the hope it will inspire your own.
deVOL (above)
Perhaps a kitchen is a little too much to ask for, but the creative team at deVOL also produce their own ceramics, metalware and wooden pieces in a large converted mill in Leicestershire. Alongside this they now also have two stunning showrooms in London, which not only showcase their inspirational kitchens but also their handmade furniture and accessories, as well as a beautifully curated selection of gifts and antique 'oddities', making it difficult to leave empty-handed.
Already in possession of books and old glass vases picked up at Cotes Mill, we now have our eye on their Crackle Pendant Lights for our kitchen. The cabinets are the dream but one step at a time.
fforest Welsh Blankets
During the summer, we spent a magical few days hiding out in a Dome at fforest farm, West Wales. Walks on the beach, leisurely pints in the pub and pizza in a tipi. It really was lovely. We're wondering if we wrapped ourselves up in one of their blankets those simple summer pleasures might come flooding back.
KH Würtz Ceramics
Aage and Kasper Würtz are an internationally sought-after father and son team of studio ceramists based in Denmark. After treating ourselves to two mugs during a trip to Copenhagen a couple of years ago, we hunted out a stockist in the UK with the intention of steadily growing our collection. Much to our delight, we found Sigmar on King's Road in London.
Another Country Hardy Side Table
We moved into our house at the very end of last year and promptly hung up the paintbrushes while other commitments took priority. We're keen to make more progress and our bedroom is top of our new year's to do list. The Hardy Side Table from Another Country would be the perfect finishing touch.
Universal Works
We have been fortunate to know David and Steph from Universal Works for a few years now. As a couple living in Nottingham, seeing their collections and business go from strength to strength is an inspiration. Ian loves their clothes and would be more than happy to be treated to a few more pieces.
Plus, if you're really stuck for ideas, you can't go wrong with a good pair of socks and theirs are all made in England.
Campbell Cole Simple Zip Corner Wallet
Ian has been using a Zip Corner Wallet all throughout the development process this year, and it's his current favourite. We launched this style last week and it is already proving to be a bestseller.
Alice Made This Jewellery
Geometric jewellery that can be dressed up or down, by day or by night, the refined pieces are engineered in the UK. Ian suprised me with a necklace from Alice Made This for my birthday. Since then the brand has launched some gorgeous statement rings.
The Rectory Hotel
Located in Wiltshire, The Rectory Hotel is an elegant Cotswold manor house with 12 bedrooms, set in three acres of garden. With the recent four-legged addition to our family, we have been on the lookout for dog friendly places to stay and this seems to be one of the friendliest, with dogs being allowed everywhere except the restaurant.
Gift vouchers can be purchased through their website here.
I discovered the hotel via the website Hudson's Choice, worth a browse if you happen to have a furry friend.
Graham & Green Christmas Decoration
When you find a decoration that looks exactly like your parsons terrier then it's hard to resist a pre-Christmas treat. Party Terrier In Dome is available from Graham & Green.
Enjoy the next few weeks... dreaming, list-making and shopping for your loved-ones.
